Manigault's Battalion, Volunteers (Infantry)

Historical Notes:
This unit may have been a part of the South Carolina 6th Infantry Battalion which became the South Carolina 26th Infantry Regiment. In December, 1864, Manigault's Artillery Battalion was converted to Infantry and sent from Virginia to South Carolina to serve in the Carolinas Campaign. Officers:
