Volume 2 contains early Cherokee Indian stories and abstracts from the Marietta Journal and other early newspaper accounts.

Volume 3 includes a reprint of "The Diary of William King of Cobb County, GA" by William King which was published in 1864. It provides a first hand account of the War in Cobb County. This volume also includes the rosters of the units formed in Cobb County for service in the war.
