4th Regiment, Tennessee Infantry


Historical Notes:
The Tennessee 4th Infantry Regiment was organized May 15,1861 in the Provisional Army of Tennessee. It was transferred to Confederate service in August,1861 and reorganized April 25,1862. The 4th was consolidated with the 5th Tennessee Infantry Regiment in December,1862 and formed part of Company D, 3rd Consolidated Tennessee Infantry Regiment on April 9,1865. It was paroled in Greensboro, North Carolina. Officers:
