Tje 10th Rhode Island Infantry Regiment was organized at Providence May 26, 1862.
If moved to Washington, D. C., May 27–29. Duty at Camp Frize, Tennallytown, till June 26.
It Left for home August 25, and was mustered out September 1, 1862
The Regiment lost 3 soldiers by disease.
