1st Maine Engineers

HISTORICAL NOTES: This unit is a mystery. In one case I have it mentioned as the 9th Unassigned Maine Volunteers with 144 names and another as the 1st Maine Engineers with 157 names. I have not found either roster to compare the names. BIBLIOGRAPHY:
