13th Regiment, Kentucky Cavalry

There appears to be several sites with conflicting information about this unit. I believe this is correct.

The Kentucky 13th Cavalry Regiment [also called 10th and 11th Regiment Mounted Infantry] was assembled at Abingdon, Virginia. The unit confronted the Federals in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia, and on April 27, 1865, surrendered at Louisa, Kentucky.

  • Assignments:
    Assigned to the Department of East Tennessee and later the Department of Western Virginia and East Tennessee. Battles:
