Florida 6th Infantry Battalion


HISTORICAL NOTES:
The Florida 6th Infantry Battalion, organized during the summer of 1863, contained seven companies. The unit was stationed in Florida and participated in the fight at Olustee. During June 1864, it moved to Virginia and merged into the 9th Florida Infantry Regiment. OFFICERS:
